What a wonderful way to start a bright sunny Sunday. My friend Wendy from the Tulalip Tribe (a native American tribe north of Seattle) finally got hold of me on the phone. She has been worried sick about us here and the phone lines are still not working 100% yet. She told me stories about how people over there had come together to raise money. All the flags and anything with red+white+blue were all sold out. The most incredible news was the Tulalip Tribe had donated $100,000 dollars to the Red Cross!!! Listen, I visited her a couple of years ago and I know they live plainly (but NO! They do not live in teepees!) and certainly have enough problems of their own. What they did was so incredible and had totally blown my mind enough to get me out of bed. Thank you Tulalip ! and I will see you next Sunday. Yes, we are keeping our travel plans to visit Wendy and SF as long as the planes are flying. I am not going to let them to stop me from living my life.

By the way, we are the one's who are responsible for this American flag bandanna thing. We put a real flag there before but someone stole it ! Just like what I had told you folks that New York is more or less back to "normal" (at least on the surface level). Some creeps even came up with a scam for the families who are still suffering the loss of loved ones. But I won't get into details here, you can find that on the news.
